Cumberland Bird Observer's Club

The Cumberland Bird Observers' Club conducts at least 40 birdwatching trips every year all over the greater Sydney region. That's more than three outings every month - rain, hail or shine - and you are very welcome to come along. No bookings required. If you have never been birdwatching before then one of these outings is the perfect way to start!

Environmental Defender's Office

The Australian Network of Environmental Defenders Offices Inc (ANEDO) consists of nine independently constituted and managed community environmental law centres located in each State and Territory of Australia. They provide legal representation and advice, take an active role in environmental law reform and policy formulation, and offer a significant education program designed to facilitate public participation in environmental decision making.

Nature Conservation Council of NSW

The Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) is a non-profit, non-government organisation representing more than 100 community environment groups across NSW. It is the state’s peak environment organisation and has a strong reputation for leading effective action and influencing the direction of environment protection in NSW. They have had a long involvement in planning and development issues, and are currently playing an active role in the NSW Planning System Review.

STEP Inc.

STEP is a community-based environmental organisation with over 400 members from Ku-ring-gai, Hornsby and surrounding suburbs of northern Sydney. Their primary aim is to preserve all natural bushland within the area from alienation and degradation.
